Snow Goggles

On a sunny day in winter the sun reflects off the snow which can cause snow blindness, a debilitating and potentially dangerous condition which literally blinds a person for a few days. Snow goggles can prevent this from happening.

This pair of snow goggles was made by Nick Neddo from a piece of cedar.
The cord is made from Stinging Nettles.
Here's Nick Neddo modeling the snow goggles he made.

The small slits effectively lower the amount of bright light reaching your eyes, protecting them from snow blindness.
