Large Sized Bow Drills

Who says bow drill sets have to be a certain size?  (see also Mini bow drills)

Here is one large-sized bow drill setup, from Nick Porter.

All of the wood is Red Cedar (Juniperus Virginiana) harvested from a sage meadow on Camp Gray's property. The rope is a piece of climbing rope and the users of the rope are campers here for a Leaders in Training program. Questions: email Nick at nick@campgray.com.

Another actual large-sized bowdrill in operation. Note the smoke coming from the base of the drill.

The following picture is actually meant as a spoof (note the flames!)
